Supply Chain Planner

About the role

As a Supply Chain Planner, you are responsible for sales forecasting, purchase orders, and inventory levels of your assortment. You ensure good availability for the customer against optimum rotation. You interact with suppliers to improve cooperation and delivery performance. In addition, you work closely with the Category management team and support commercial choices. You translate forecasts from Category Management into an optimal stock and purchasing strategy. This can be both long-term planning and short-term additional ordering. With your order proposal, you advise on minimum order quantities, lead times and proactively anticipate possible risks and opportunities in the entire supply chain. You are part of a young team, where there is room to take initiative in various domains.

In short, you will be doing the following:

• Forecasting sales, placing and monitoring purchase orders

• Adjusting inventories based on the product lifecycle of items

• Analyzing and monitoring chain performance and implementing improvements internally and externally

• Collaborating effectively with your commercial and logistics colleagues

Here's where you recognize yourself:

• HBO-level education, in the field of supply chain management, (technical) business administration, or economics

• 3-5 years of work experience as a Planner, Buyer, or Supply Chain Analyst

• Commercial mindset and assertiveness

• Strong analytical skills

• Team player with a strong sense of personal responsibility

• Experience with ERP and Slim4 inventory software is a plus

• Excellent command of the Dutch language, both written and spoken
